Second Semester of Senior Year:
I am pretty excited for my last semester at SAMO and that's for a few reasons. The main one is just graduating and getting out of here which is great, but I am also excited to see what colleges rejected or accepted me. It could go 2 ways and hopefully god is on my side. Moving to my capstone project, at the moment we are facing a few issues that could trouble us. The big one is that I only have 1 group member since my other one hasn't even showed up once for the semester so far. Other than that we will probably just struggle with getting evidence that supports us.
Capstone Project:
So I have been given the question: What is the difference between products that are made for profit and products that are made to benefit others? The difference is that a product made for profit is solely seeking money so the producer will try it's best to limit money spent on quality, actual benefit, and much more. A product made for benefit is made by a producer that wants to see change by having something that has a limited cost to buy, and will actually affect people's lives for the greater good.
Jewelry is a very good example of a product made for profit since the producer is spending a lot less money on buying the item and they sell it for a ridiculous price. They also have a product that has little to no benefit for the world or people. Glasses are an example of a product made for benefit since they are made to allow people to see better and fix a condition or problem that some people deal with.
